Central Authentication Service Access

You may access the University Housing Portal and Intranet using the Central Authenication Service (CAS) with your SIU Network ID or by using you University Housing domain account. If you are unsure of which login to use you may contact your supervisor or the Housing IT Help Desk at 618.453.8220. In most circumstances students and staff from external departments wil access the portal using the CAS while University Housing staff will access the portal using their University Housing Domain account.

Go to Web Address: https://portal.housing.siu.edu
Click (1) Login using the Central Authentication Service to be redirected to the CAS login page.

Provide SIU Network ID Credentials

Enter (1) your Network ID (e.g. SIU850123456)
Enter (2) your Password
Click (3) Login

On Successful Authentication

Upon successful authentication you will be directed to your portal Home page, also referred to as your Dashboard. Your roles in the portal will determine what tasks you can perform on the Dashboard.

On Unsuccessful Authentication

Upon unsuccessful authentication you will be presented with an error. Click (1) the OK button try again
